Esophageal Function and Reflux Testing Basic Course
Target Audience
Physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and other eligible health care professionals
interested in providing effective and responsible care for the patient requiring esophageal motility and reflux
testing. The course is designed to accommodate the needs of both novice and expert users.
Goal
To build a foundation which will enable the user to perform accurate esophageal motility (manometry and
impedance / manometry) and reflux (acid (pH) and impedance/pH) procedures while gaining an understanding of
the clinical implications and utility for these procedures.

Two days of hands-on procedures performed on volunteers

Maximize exposure to the different issues one may encounter when performing esophageal diagnostic tests

Courses are held at the Sandhill Training Center, Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Reflux training is scheduled
for its own special day at each course. Call for an agenda.*
