1. Is it ok to have the InSIGHT computer connected to the Hospital Network?
• Yes, it is ok to be connected to the hospital network.
• BUT it is not ok to be logged on to the hospital network while performing a procedure.
2. I have an INSIGHT™ from 2001 and I get an "error connecting to Insight" message. What should I Do?
• A component has failed on the data acquisition PCB.
• This item needs to be replaced by your Bio-Med department.
• Order part # S94-2440-KIT, which comes with installation instructions.
3. Why are there 2 reset buttons on the front of the INSIGHT™, which are not active?
• The reset set buttons are used when a manual reset of the computer is required.
• The buttons must be pushed simultaneously for them to function.
• This avoids accidental manual rest from occurring.
4. My computer is running very slow. What can I do?
• Backup and remove old patient files.
• Run a System Scandisk and defragment on the hard drive from the System Tools menu.
· From the start menu go to "Accesorries" then "System Tools"
· Select the Disk Cleanup option
· delete the "Temporary Internet Files", "Recycle Bin Files", and "Compress Old Files"
· After that, go back and select the Disk Defragmenter Option.
· Select (c:) and hit Defragment.
· This may take a wile.
5. I am unable to print my studies and the last one was very hard to read. What should I do?
• Check the print Queue for waiting print jobs and delete them.
• Check printer cable connections.
• Print a test page from printer tool box. Replace cartridges if color is too light.
• Reboot the system.
6. Can the Win98 insight be upgraded to WinXP?
• No
7. When I calibrate my INSIGHT™ and Catheter, I see orange bars on the screen. Is this normal?
• You should only look at the hand gauge when calibrating.
• Ignore the bars on the screen until you verify calibration.
