1. I am trying to format the compact flash card and the computer
flashes a quick message, "completed format". I did not see the usual black
popup window to verify deletion of files and format card. Is this OK?

1. I am trying to format the compact flash card and the computer
flashes a quick message, "completed format". I did not see the usual black
popup window to verify deletion of files and format card. Is this OK?
• You are not logged on as the administrator. You must see the black pop up and answer the 2 questions to format properly. Log on properly.
2. When I try to format the compact flash I get an error,
"Please insert compact flash into drive", but a card is already in the
recorder. What should I do?
• Confirm you logged on the computer with administrative privileges. If not, log on properly.
• Is the correct drive selected under the options button? If not, select correct drive.
• Is there a green light on the reader illuminated? If not, reboot the computer.
• You must use an official Sandhill Compact Flash Card. If not, change to a Sandhill tested and approved Compact Flash Card, Part# Z00-1200-256.
3. I am unable to calibrate the catheter for the ZepHr/Sleuth.
• You must verify proper catheter connection; verify protocol # on display matches package reorder #.
• Verify skin was prepped w/ alcohol prep pad before applying electrode patch. Prep finger to be in buffer as well.
• Verify external electrode is connected to patient and the patient's finger is in the buffer.
• Verify that all pH and impedance sensors are completely submersed in the buffer.
4. I am unable to find the proper ZepHr/Sleuth catheter protocol that I want to use in the list.
• Go to the ZepHr/Sleuth "start new patient window" and click onthe option button in lower left corner.
• Go to edit protocol list and select the proper protocol to be displayed.

5. I am using the ZepHr/Sleuth with LES Locator. How do I select display pressure and how far is the port from the tip?
• Open the ZepHr/Sleuth program and go into the options in lower left corner.
• Select "show pressure".
• The Locator port is 6cm above the distal esophageal pH sensor.
6. I need to change the date and time on the ZepHr/Sleuth.
• You must REMOVE the Compact Flash Card in the ZepHr/Sleuth before starting this procedure.
• Insert batteries and push the light bulb button.
• Then push the "1" button. Arrow over to next and press enter ("1")button, select "setup" and change the time.
7. My datalogger says, "Lead Off". What should I do?
• Take a few sips of water and wait a few minutes
• Check and make sure the probe is connected tightly. You may try to disconnect and reconnect it.
• Take a few more sips of water and wait a few minutes.
• If the problem continues, call your clinician
8. The datalogger says, "Low battery". What should I do?
• Open the battery compartment and replace with the appropriate alkaline battery.
